Who is it for?

Why should I take this course?

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is for anyone 19 years plus, who wishes to pursue a career in education or training staff. You do not need to be in a teaching role. The course aims to provide you with the knowledge and skills to work with individuals or groups in an area you are technically competent with. On completion, this qualification will allow you to enter the education sector with additional organisation requirements and be able to support the process of assessment. The course is approximately 120hours of learning over a maximum of 12 months and successful completion of this qualification enables learners to proceed to the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, or directly into the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.

The elearning process

How it works

Through elearning, you can learn remotely, as you choose, in comfort and at your own pace. With no need for classroom contact, you will have a dedicated tutor who will be on hand to support and guide you through your course and assist in all your learning needs. This qualification is split into short, manageable sections with interactive and engaging activities throughout and a learning review after each unit. You are required to complete coursework in the form of a portfolio of evidence and a 15-minute micro teach and will gain access to resources and reusable downloads to support your learning.

How will I be assessed?

Dedicated tutor support will assist in your learner needs and ensure all preparation for assessment is made in full. Contact via phone or video call will be made before any official assessment is completed.

  • Interactions and quizzes test learning through course delivery with end of unit learning reviews.

  • Completion of the Learner achievement portfolio with mandatory unit 1 and a further 2 optional units.

  • 15 minute recorded micro teach, clearly showing the learner with students, and clear audio.
