Who is it for?

This award is for anyone wanting to further their understanding of nutrition for health and physical performance. There are no entry requirements, and this course may be used as a steppingstone for future career progression into health-related services, nutrition and health in the community, fitness instructing and nutritional guidance. With downloadable resources and easy to use interactive content, on successful completion of the mandatory unit, you will receive a certificate from ActiveIQ endorsed by CIMSPA.

The elearning process

How does it work

Through elearning, you can learn remotely, as you choose, in comfort and at your own pace. With no need for classroom contact, you will have a dedicated tutor who will be on hand to support and guide you through your course and assist in all your learning needs. To be successful in your course you will be required to submit your learner achievement portfolio from downloads of the course resource and passed by your tutor. Live tutor contact is required before all assessments and completion of learner achievement portfolios and recorded assessments will be monitored.

How will I be assessed?

Your dedicated tutor will assist in your learner needs and ensure all preparation for assessment is made in full. Contact via phone or video call is a requirement and will be made before any official assessment is completed.
