Who is it for?

With health and wellbeing of national importance, this qualification will help you understand the role and responsibilities you have as a physical activity professional to safely engage this specialist group in becoming healthy, active individuals. This course is for those people currently working within a fitness or physical activity environment with a L2 Fitness Instruction qualification or a certificate in Leading Health Related Activity Session; coaching qualification or equivalent, and would like to adapt their delivery to accommodate and work with adolescents 11 – 18 yrs.

The elearning process

How does it work?

Through elearning, you can learn remotely, as you choose, in comfort and at your own pace. With no need for classroom contact, you will have a dedicated tutor who will be on hand to support and guide you through your course and assist in all your learning needs. To be successful in your course you will be required to submit your learner achievement portfolio from downloads of the course resource and passed by your tutor. Live tutor contact is required before all assessments and completion of learner achievement portfolios and recorded assessments will be monitored

How will I be assessed?

Your dedicated tutor will assist in your learner needs and ensure all preparation for assessment is made in full. Contact via phone or video call is a requirement and will be made before any official assessment is completed.

  • Interactions and quizzes test learning through course delivery with end of unit learning reviews.

  • Completion of the Learner achievement portfolio.

  • No external examination is required, so you can complete all assessed work from home.
